Mihaela Miroiu

Mihaela Miroiu graduated in Philosophy in 1978 and is a Doctor in Philosophy since 1994. She was professor at SNSPA. Now she continues her research and her activities as writer. Mihaela Miroiu is the initiator of the first doctoral program of Political Sciences in Romania (2000), of the first course of feminist theories (1994) and of the first master for Gender Studies (1998). She also contributed to the initiations of two non-governmental organizations: AnA Society for Feminist Studies and the Center for Curricular Development and Gender Studies, FILIA.
