Megi Fino

Megi Fino was born in Ioannina on 7 April 1993. She completed her International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Beijing in 2012. She holds a Law LLB degree and an LLM in Public International Law from City, University of London. Subsequently, she attained the Legal Practice Course (LPC) as the final academic step in practicing law. In 2015, she obtained a Communicative Chinese diploma from SOAS University of London.
Throughout her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, Ms. Fino engaged in legal advice work in an international immigration law firm and various law centres, mainly aimed at welfare benefits advice. From 2018, she worked as a lawyer in the international law firm CMS Adonnino Ascoli & Cavasola Scamoni in Tirana and was then hired by Vodafone Albania as a regulatory expert in their legal and external affairs department. In 2021, Ms. Fino compiled the Integrity Index, as part of STAR 3 project on local governance reform, serving as UNDP’s integrity consultant.
She speaks English and Spanish fluently and has a good grasp of Chinese (mandarin), Italian and Greek language. Megi Fino was appointed Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania in June 2021, where she mainly covers EU integration process and international organisations with particular focus on security matters.
