ESEE FANEL Network supported UN Youth Association of Romania to organize the 11th edition of the Summer School on Diplomacy, titled Shaping the future through the 2030 Agenda. 

The UN Youth Summer School on Diplomacy is an educational programme that offers to its participants a challenging and dynamic space for a better understanding of diplomacy. It targets BA, MA and PhD students, recent graduates and young professionals with relevant experience and proven interest in the fields of International Relations, Economics, International Law, Political Science or Diplomacy.

Ambassadors, diplomats, businessmen and other respected professionals have contributed as keynote speakers over the years, offering valuable insights and information to the attendees, that helped them better understand the covered topics. This year Professor Liliana Popescu, Vice-rector of SNSPA, joined the panels as a representative of the ESEE FANEL Network.

The curriculum of the 11th edition addressed general issues and theoretical aspects regarding International Relations, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent work, Economic growth and Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. During the lectures and fruitful debates the participants had the opportunity to discover useful perspectives that would help them make comprehensive and balanced analysis of the foreseeable future of today’s stance on diplomacy.
