We envision a world where women and male experts in international relations are equally visible in the public sphere and work together, as equals, to build a better future for all.
Our mission is to connect women experts in international relations in our region and increase the visibility of their work internationally.
We are engaged in building a network of women experts from Eastern, South-Eastern, and Central Europe, as well as the extended Black Sea region. We help them connect with each other based on their professional interests, we promote their work and publications, and we support them to collaborate on projects that make a difference.
We organize webinars, conferences, and roundtable discussions on topics that are relevant for the decision makers, for other experts, and for students, researchers and citizens in the region and internationally. But there is a twist. These events are FANELS (all-Female pANELS), in contrast and in a mirror of the frequently occurring MANELS (all-Male pANELS).
The ESEE FANEL Network is supported by SNSPA – the National University for Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest, Romania – and the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the German Marshall Fund of the United States
